/24-7PressRelease/ - WASHINGTON, DC, March 05, 2008 - CampaignCircus.com, the free video content website that offers a variety of political video coverage, announced today that it has just launched the Pundit Accountability Project . The campaigns are not the only clowns in this year's circus - the pundits have joined the act too. The Pundit Accountability Project captures video clips of pundits' predications so they can be measured against actual outcomes. And users can track pundits by name, in an easy to use drop-down menu, which includes our first list of 23 pundits - typically the ones who have been most consistently wrong. (Howard Fineman is currently leading the pack - with predictions that Rudy was perfectly positioned for a Florida win, and that Ted Kenney would not be endorsing Obama.)

" Who was right? Who was wrong? And who was WAY wrong? You can find out on our site. The nature of the 24 hour news cycle requires many political pundits to fill the air waves with endless chatter about the 2008 race. The more they predict outcomes, the more they get wrong," CampaignCircus.com CEO Jared Young said. "The Pundit Accountability Project highlights many of these instances to keep the pundits on their toes. We are non-ideological and non-partisan. We just want to have a way to track the records of pundits - are they good at what they do: Predicting the outcomes of politics?"

With no shortage of political pundits and personalities, the Pundit Accountability Project is categorized by pundit name. In addition to providing an efficiently organized way to view the pundits, viewers are able to comment, share, or upload videos of their own. The Pundit Accountability Project can be found at: http://campaigncircus.com/video_player.php?keyword=92

Users will be able to keep adding pundit clips and new pundits to the site. The current list is just the beginning. At various points during the 2008 election cycle, CampaignCircus.com will release a video compilation of clips of the pundit who made the most consistently wrong predictions.

CampaignCircus.com's focus on campaign and political coverage allows users to quickly and easily find the videos they are looking for without having to sift through a sea of other videos that may have little to do with what interests them. Additionally, CampaignCircus.com offers all the same features as other popular user-generated video hosting sites.

Example videos include:

- Howard Fineman predicted Rudy Giuliani was in the perfect position headed into Florida. http://campaigncircus.com/video_player.php?v=7587
- Mike Barnicle predicted Hillary Clinton would not win in New Hampshire and that her campaign for the presidency was over right before her victory there. http://campaigncircus.com/video_player.php?v=7591
- Bill Kristol correctly predicted Romney would drop out during his CPAC speech. http://campaigncircus.com/video_player.php?v=7703&keyword=92
- Chris Matthews claims to get a tingle up his leg after hearing Obama speak. http://campaigncircus.com/video_player.php?v=7817
- When Alan Colmes recently confronted Dick Morris about his wrong predictions about Hillary Clinton in 2000, Morris turned visceral as things got ugly. http://campaigncircus.com/video_player.php?v=5600

The Pundit Accountability Project is just one aspect of the variety of political content that can be found at CampaignCircus.com. Other video areas of interest include political humor, campaign ads, debates footage and news coverage. Users can narrow their search to videos that focus on a specific candidates, issues or categories.
