LOS ANGELES, CA, September 26, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Delray Richardson is pleased to announce today's release of his radio single "(Can I) Get You Another Drink." This is the first song from his highly-anticipated album, MASTER MASON (In Hip Hop Grammar) which arrives on October 17. "(Can I) Get You Another Drink" is being promoted by Del FunkBoy Music, LLC.
Richardson's classic party song, "(Can I) Get You Another Drink" is brimming with original instrumentation and class as he weaves his way through the party with savvy lyrics and a chorus that's so catchy it'll have every listener asking the bartenders and host's favorite question "(Can I) Get You Another Drink?" Its heavy clapping back-beat and keyboard riffs highlight the clever lyrics:
"Second verse the party's jumping gin and juice everybody loose,
A little red wine or some chardonnay pardon me, what's your name?
She said, my name is Tina. I thought you was gone say it was Aquafina,
Cause girl I'm thirsty it's hot up in here sorry no thank you I don't drink beer,
All I need is cranberry on the rocks I'm the designated driver the soul survivor.
By the end of the song the listener will be singing "(Can I) Get You Another Drink?" What you drinking? "This song is a hypnotizing party anthem, fun and different," said Richardson. "It's such a perfect song for any celebratory occasion, party or gathering and I really want everyone to roll down their windows and bump this song."
Richardson, an Annapolis, Maryland native, has been named co-writer next to some of the biggest names in hip-hop history like Melle Mel, Tupac, Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and The Game. Annapolis Mayor Ellen Moyer declared May 23 "Delray Richardson Day" in 2008 and presented the rapper with a proclamation in the Stanton Center gymnasium. To date, Richardson's songs have been featured in movies like "Be Cool" and "Tupac Resurrection" and have earned him gold and platinum records commemorating record sales in the millions. In 2000 and 2003, he won the Los Angeles Music Award for best independent hip-hop artist of the year, edging out major label signee the Black Eyed Peas. On August 11th 2017, RR Auction site licensed Richardson's photo of Tupac Shakur in his Hummer taken just days before his death in Las Vegas which helped Tupac's Hummer sell for over $206,000 to a private buyer in Baltimore.
