Candace Waters, SCMP, CRM, Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Account Management

    CALGARY, AB, CANADA, November 20, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Candace Waters, Commercial Manager at ENMAX Corporation, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in negotiation and contract management.

When Ms. Waters received the Inukshuk Award from the ENMAX Corporation, it was clear she had proved herself an asset to the business. This award recognized the work she did to save the company a total of $9.5 million. Even in her first year with ENMAX, three years ago, she was given a leadership award - foreshadowing the important team member she would become.

Now a commercial manager, she must manage all of the company's contracts and negotiations on the international level. Her strong grasp of negotiation strategies is apparent as she oversees a 20-member team. She draws on a total of 20 years of experience in account management to seamlessly carry out these duties.

In the past, she has served as a purchasing specialist, procurement lead, inventory analyst, and inventory auditing professional. She is accredited in each of the areas she has worked: contract management, professional management with a special focus on risk management, and general management. She is also recognized as a supply chain management professional by the Alberta Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada and as a certified risk manager by the Global Risk Management Institute, Inc.

Always driven to continue learning about the fields in which she works, she remains involved with numerous significant organizations. She is a member of the two associations that have presented her with certification, the above-mentioned Alberta Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada and the Global Risk Management Institute. She also remains informed of management practices through the Southern Alberta Chapter of the Project Management Institute.
