MANAGUA, NICARAGUA, October 10, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/
-- The upcoming Central American Nearshore Summit 2013 will be focused on promoting the region as an outsourcing destination and will include a series of presentations from international experts. The event is set to take place in Managua, Nicaragua on November 7th and 8th.
CANS is being coordinated by the investment promotion agencies of five Central American nations that will present the region as a competitive, unified and attractive outsourcing destination; among them are CINDE (Costa Rica), FIDE (Honduras), Invest in Guatemala (Guatemala), PROESA (El Salvador) and PRONicaragua (Nicaragua). This will also be the first time these agencies join to promote the entire region as a destination for investment. However, there will be a space to highlight all individual characteristics each country has to offer in the plenary session "Meet the Agencies", moderated by Ann Harts, Principal of Hickey & Associates, LLC.
Since Nicaragua is hosting this special event, there will also be an exclusive session to highlight the country's main investment opportunities in the outsourcing sector, led by Javier Chamorro, Executive Director of PRONicaragua.
The event will have a group of Central American outsourcing companies, already established in the region, sharing and discussing their experiences and success stories in a plenary session moderated by Kirk Laughlin, Founder and Editorial Director of Nearshore Americas. There will also be a space for business meetings, which will provide a great opportunity for foreign and regional companies to establish key contacts and alliances.
Additionally, the conference program includes a set of presentations by industry experts, such as the conference "Nearshoring from Central America: Opportunities and Challenges" by Dawn Evans, President and CEO of Sourcing Interests Group (SIG), and Atul Vashistha, Chairman of Nearshore Executive Alliance.
