About Drs. James Holloway, DDS and R. Allen Chumbler, DMD: Dr. James Holloway, family dentist in Cape Coral, has been providing quality dental care for his patients since1985. In 2003, Dr. R. Allen Chumbler joined Dr. Holloway to open the North Fort Myers, FL location. Dr. James Holloway attended the Ohio State University, College of Dentistry. Upon graduation he opened a private practice in a small town in rural Ohio. Eventually he sold his practice to an associate allowing him and his family to move to Cape Coral, FL. Dr. R. Allen Chumbler graduated from the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry and practiced in Orlando while a member of the U.S. Army Reserves before entering active duty with the US Army Dental Corps. He served a four-year tour of duty in Germany and later served in the US Air Force Dental Corps where he obtained the rank of major during six additional years in Germany. After three years in Germany in private practice, he returned to Florida and joined Dr. Holloway in his dental practice.
