/24-7PressRelease/ - September 02, 2005 - These pieces are the orginal designs, produced by Paul Cardew in the Cardew Design Studio based in Devon and officially commissioned by Aardman Animations.

As an accompaniment to the upcoming film, these teapots are designed with "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of Were-Rabbit" as inspiration, bound to appeal to teapot collectors and Wallace and Gromit fans alike. Officially commissioned Aardman, and available for sale in the Cardew Club online shop, Paul Cardew is now going to be putting up for auction the orginal prototype pottery designs. Very soon you will have the chance to bid on these unique items, which will be individually signed by Paul Cardew.

You can view the designs themselves in the online shop section of http://www.cardewclub.com at http://www.cardewclub.com/acatalog/Wallace_and_Gromit.html. With one teapot fashioned after Wallace and Gromit's van, one in the shape of a pumpkin with the animated pair sitting on top, one in the shape of Wallace sitting in his armchair and drinking tea, and a selection of other pottery pieces in the same theme, the prototypes for auction may vary from these finalised designs.

In order to bid for these highly collectible items, you do not need to be a member of Cardew Club. All that is required will be a short registration in order to provide you with a bidding account, which is free. The items you will be bidding on are fully functional pieces of pottery, and will be signed individually by the creator, Paul Cardew.
The auction will be starting soon, a subsequent press release will provide details and links for the auction site on the Cardew Club website.
