After working in business management for 29 years, Carol A. Reeves decided that her communication, organizational and management skills would best serve the healthcare system. Specializing in inventory control, she now thrives in her first year as Storeroom Manager at St. Mary Medical Center, where she is responsible for overseeing staff, managing the distribution of patient care equipment, material and supplies, and shipping and receiving goods. In just the short amount of time that she has been with St. Mary's, Ms. Reeves has demonstrated her ability to organize and maintain her department and staff for the betterment of the hospital. In an interview with Cambridge Publishing, she noted that she is grateful for the opportunity to work with a hospital ranked in the top 5 percent for patient safety for three consecutive years. As she continues, she will strive to contribute to its excellence.
Ms. Reeves is currently seeking a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership and supervision. She holds an associate of arts in business management from Purdue University North Central and holds a license as a Producer in Life, Health and Accident Insurance from the State of Indiana.
