Carole Conn Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Program Management

    SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 10, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carole Conn, Director of Public Service Programs for The Bar Association of San Francisco, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in program management.

In May 2010, Ms. Conn was promoted to director of the public service programs at the Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She brought two decades of professional experience and expertise in legal service delivery programs to the position, which entails providing quality legal referrals to the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Ms. Conn oversees the program's staff, develops program services and outreach, and interacts with attorneys and clients, locating qualified attorneys and legal resources for more than 50,000 individuals a year. Ms. Conn attributes her success to having a vision and being part of a team of intelligent people.

Ms. Conn holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has done public speaking at the American Bar Association LRIS Annual Workshops and has made presentations to lawyers, law students, merchant associations, and Board Members. She has also appeared on Spanish television, on the Best of the Bay television program, and on video to publicize the services of the LRIS. Ms. Conn has had articles published in BASF's San Francisco Attorney Magazine, the American Bar Association Journal's Dialogue, and the monthly BASF Bulletin. In 2011, her public service program was recognized as being the best nonprofit in Northern California by Best of the Bay. She also received the ABA's prestigous Cindy A. Raish Award for excellence and superior services in 2000. Looking toward the future, Ms. Conn aims to expand the program and its services to advance the public's access to affordable, quality lawyers and legal services.
