Acclaimed employment, labor and immigration law firm welcomes Senior Counsel Andrea K. Douglas, adds more attorneys statewide

Douglas and the arrival of new associate attorneys to its offices throughout California.

A graduate of Columbia University Law School, esteemed attorney Andrea K. Douglas joins the firm as Senior Counsel. Douglas maintains nearly 20 years of experience, focusing her practice on the successful resolution of employment disputes in matters related to discrimination, harassment and retaliation. In her role at CDF, Douglas represents clients in a broad range of employment claims, using her significant experience to provide employers with trusted legal counsel to avoid employee-related litigation. She was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2004 to 2009 and listed on Hot List for Lawyers of Color in 2014 for her excellence in California labor and employment law. Douglas is actively committed to public service, working on a variety of pro bono matters, volunteering with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is a member of the Black Women Lawyer's Association and Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She practices in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Bingxi "Ceci" Sun (Los Angeles) - Sun, a certified mediator, fluent in Mandarin Chinese, will significantly enhance the defense of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and wage and hour cases. In addition, she has performed in-depth legal research for wage and hour and labor trafficking cases. Sun received her undergraduate degree from University of California, San Diego and her law degree from University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.

Christopher Campbell (Orange County) - Campbell defends California employers against allegations of wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination and retaliation. He also defends employers against whistleblower claims, particularly businesses in the medical and financial sectors. Campbell has experience defeating wage and hour claims brought on behalf of individual plaintiffs or as putative class actions. Campbell is a graduate of University of California, Irvine and received his law degree from University of California, Irvine School of Law.

Janine Braxton (Sacramento) - Braxton has extensive experience conducting private and public workplace investigations. She also has experience litigating trade secret, real estate, and professional negligence matters. She received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Davis, her law degree from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, is on the board of the Sacramento Employer Advisory Council and is a member of Women Lawyers of Sacramento.

Julia Luster (San Francisco) - Luster defends California employers against class actions and single plaintiff claims in federal and state courts and in all stages of litigation. In addition, she focuses her practice on advising clients on employee rights and benefits in addition to variety of statutorily-mandated employee protections. Luster is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles. She received her master's degree from Columbia University and her law degree from University of California, Davis, School of Law.
