Attorneys Christopher M. Robertson and Denisha P. McKenzie join award-winning firm



    IRVINE, CA, October 05, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carothers DiSante & Freudenberger LLP (CDF), a prominent California employment, labor and immigration law firm proudly welcomes two esteemed attorneys to its Orange County office. Continuing to grow its firm leadership and class action practice, Christopher M. Robertson rejoins the firm as a partner. Denisha P. McKenzie joins as an associate. Robertson and McKenzie are part of the firm's team of more than 40 attorneys who exclusively practice employment and labor law statewide.

Robertson focuses his practice on class action litigation with nearly 30 years of extensive knowledge in strategically navigating employment issues for clients under California and federal law. In cases involving alleged violations of California wage and hour law and the Fair Labor Standards Act, Robertson assists clients in formulating successful strategies for opposing class certification, coordinating duplicative cases and resolving purported class action litigation. He has successfully defended employers in the hospitality, aerospace and financial services industries in jury trials involving allegations of employment discrimination, and also has represented plaintiffs and defendants in trade secrets litigation. He works closely with clients to provide pre-litigation counseling and legal solutions on all workplace-related issues. He received his juris doctor from University of Michigan Law School and a bachelor's degree from Princeton University.

McKenzie works with employers on a variety of employment and labor issues involving discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination cases, representing clients before state and federal agencies. She provides legal counsel to clients regarding employee rights and benefits, advising them on preventative measures to avoid unforeseen legal risk. McKenzie received her juris doctor from University of California, Irvine School of Law, and a bachelor's degree from Tufts University. She serves on the University of California - Irvine Law School's Inclusion and Diversity Committee, is vice president of the Thurgood Marshall Bar Association, and serves on the Board of Directions for the nonprofit group Family Support Network.
