Dental Product Shopper is a newsletter, which provides peer-to-peer dental product reviews and recommendations. The concept originated when Integrated Media Solutions' staff began asking dentists and hygienists about their new product purchasing decisions.
"I'm excited to have this opportunity to try new products and share my experience with other dental professionals," says Koran. "It's a privilege to be able to give back to the dental community, which has been instrumental in helping me to grow in my career."
Koran graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College in Pennsylvania with a degree in dental hygiene and is taking courses at UNC at Chapel Hill to progress her dental career. She has 17 years of experience in the dental field and currently serves as the Director of Hygiene Operations and Education for Cary Family Dental. Koran is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) and volunteers locally at Wake Smiles Clinic.
Cary Family Dental's Dr. Allan Acton is proud of Koran's accomplishment and says that her years of industry experience and expertise will benefit dental professionals.

Neither Dental Product Shopper nor its evaluators are paid to perform product evaluations. Each product to be evaluated is sent to 8 to 10 evaluators who then use the product for at least four weeks. At the end of the evaluation period, evaluators complete a form designed by the editorial staff in conjunction with the product manufacturer and the editorial advisory board. Each product is then given a final score based on evaluator overall product satisfaction.
