/24-7PressRelease/ -- Jessica Klarer Pride, an associate attorney with San Diego-based Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield, LLP, has been elected to the board of directors of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego (CASD), an organization of trial lawyers whose focus is to preserve and protect the legal rights of consumers. She will serve a one-year term, working on various projects and activities related to the organization.
Pride concentrates her practice on products and premises liability, automobile collision, asbestos litigation and other serious personal injury cases. Bilingual in Spanish, she also works closely with Casey Gerry's Hispanic clients.
A native of Orange County, she worked as a certified law clerk at Girardi and Keese in Los Angeles prior to joining Casey Gerry as a law clerk in 2006. She was also a certified intern at the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Civil Clinic and has received training from the California Academy of Mediation Professionals as a mediator.
She received her J.D. from USD School of Law and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Irvine. In addition to her involvement with CASD, Pride is on the board of governors for the New Lawyers Division of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), is a board member with the San Diego County Bar Association (Young New Lawyers Division) and is a member of Lawyer's Club of San Diego, the Consumer Attorneys of California and La Raza Lawyers Association. She is also active in Big Brothers Big Sisters -- a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children. She lives in the Chula Vista neighborhood of San Diego.
