Cathy L. Faulkner Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Secondary Education

    DE SOTO, MO, July 17, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cathy L. Faulkner, Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood University, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in secondary education.

Ms. Faulkner has spent the past year serving as an adjunct professor at one of the nation's most vibrant four-year liberal arts institutions, and demonstrating her profound grammatical expertise. In her current capacity, Ms. Faulkner is responsible for starting the day with office hours, teaching classes in writing, grammar and literature, and working with the dean of the English department.

Ms. Faulkner has worked in secondary education for more than 16 years. After her son joined the Marines, she went back to school to pursue a master's degree. After she earned this degree, she left secondary education to pursue postsecondary teaching work. She attributes her success to her work ethic and determination. She was inspired to pursue her current career path by her own experiences, as she had a fabulous teacher in college, who sparked her interest in the field.

Ms. Faulkner received a Master of Education in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment from Walden University. She remains abreast of trends and developments in education as a member of the ASCD. In the years to come, Ms. Faulkner hopes to continue teaching college-level courses.
