Channel Ape Syncs XML/CSV to Shopify

    SCRANTON, PA, July 13, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Multi-channel platform ChannelApe has recently designed a way for retailers to take their XML and CSV data feeds and process them so that they're readable by Shopify. This is done through an automated process that, otherwise, can be troublesome and time-consuming for online store owners.

Many retail suppliers offer access to their data feeds so that online stores can obtain product data and hi-resolution images in a customized and organized fashion. Detailed product descriptions, hi-res images and up-to-date inventory are all beneficial to the retailer looking to convert browsers into buyers. The difficulty comes in converting this data: importing the XML into spreadsheets, exporting the CSV and matching these cells - all on a daily basis. Many find this process unsustainable. Not to mention, annoying.

Through the ChannelApe platform, this entire process can be automated. The first step is integrating with the company itself. They currently support nearly one hundred disparate suppliers - including Amazon, Shopify, Europa Sports, Emerson Ecologics, Honest Green, Acusport, Creation Watches and more. Supplier feeds are not regulated to one channel or supplier. Several can be integrated simultaneously. If the platform isn't currently supporting a new customer's supplier, the company states that they are able to custom integrate within days of a request.

Once sign up is complete, it's a matter of syncing inventory and turning this into an automated process by implementing a customized "recipe". As ChannelApe states on their site, "This can be done every day, every hour, every minute, ok maybe not every minute, but you get the point."
