HOUSTON, TX, September 01, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chantal, the high-end kitchenware company with products made for healthy and environmentally-friendly cooking, announces its teakettle trade-in program in partnership with retailers across the U.S. to encourage consumers to recycle old teakettles of any brand or style.

The program, which runs throughout the month of October, offers 20 percent off the price of a new Chantal teakettle for customers who bring in their old kettles to participating retailers or through an online program at www.chantal.com/tradein. Functional teakettles will be donated to local organizations such as Goodwill for resale, and non-functioning teakettles will be recycled.

"This program is a wonderful incentive for people to dispose of old teakettles in an environmentally friendly way," said Chantal CEO and founder Heida Thurlow. "Chantal has always utilized environmentally sensitive manufacturing processes and materials, and this is just one more reason that Chantal is a great choice for the many people who are focused on implementing a greener lifestyle."

Chantal retailers in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Denver, Seattle and more will collect traded in kettles for donation or recycling depending on the usability. For more information about the Chantal Teakettle Trade-In program go to www.chantal.com/tradein
