- Rome, NY, September 5, 2008, Charlene Elizabeth Emeterio, CCT, LCSW-R, BCD, Owner and Clinical Director for the Sacred Heart Healing Center, has been recognized by

Ms. Emeterio has 20 years of experience in her field, around 13 years as a licensed therapist and six years of experience as the owner and clinical director for the Sacred Heart Healing Center. She is an entrepreneur in her field creating Sacred Heart Healing Center and putting psychotherapy and massage together. Her areas of expertise include trauma, addictions, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. She is responsible for performing psychotherapy, counseling children and adults, and treating individuals with stress, anxiety and depression. Specializing in treating children and soldiers, she is a strong advocate for clients' rights and proper treatment within the healthcare system. This is the first psychotherapy practice to incorporate massage therapy. Ms. Emeterio contracts with massage therapists to do massage right at SHHC for her clients. She attributes her success to her family and faith in God. Sacred Heart Healing Center is a therapy center that provides psychotherapy and counseling in a private practice setting.
Appreciating the value of education, Ms. Emeterio is recognized as a Board Certified Diplomate. She earned her Master of Social Work from Albany State University, and also has a certification in Clay Therapy. She is licensed with psychotherapy privileges and is in the highest standing of credentials in her state with national recognition. She is a member of the National Association of Clinical Social Workers, the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work, and the Rome Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Emeterio currently does workshops and critical incident reporting for employee assistance programs. In the future, she plans to expand her practice through conducting statewide workshops and publishing books.
