With more than 19 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Mr. Burns excels in geriatrics and psychotherapy. As primary therapist, he is responsible for utilizing cognitive-behavior techniques, offering treatment plans for people diagnosed with depression, anxiety and memory problems, consulting psychiatrists, and reviewing treatment plans. Prior to joining Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Mr. Burns worked as a therapist and as a counselor at Comprehensive Services. He attributes his success to his self-motivation and dedication.

Mr. Burns, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, earned his Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern Illinois University in 1989. He is affiliated with the American Counseling Association.
