/24-7PressRelease/ - WILMINGTON, NC, March 14, 2008 - Charleston Homes announces the "Hometown Heroes" program which offers amazing home buying incentives for state, county and local municipal employees plus all active military. The builder is introducing the program as awareness builds in the community for their new Lowcountry style town home community called Charleston Common at Jackeys Creek. The community will house 88 Charleston style 2 and 3 bedroom detached town homes located on River Road, just 5 minutes from the heart of downtown Wilmington.

The Hometown Heroes program will give qualified buyers a 1% discount off the base price of a home prior to upgrades and options. The discounts will save buyers anywhere from $2090 - $2500 off their homes. It's the builder's way of saying "thank you" to the men and women who give so much to the community. "We want to give back to these military folks who have sacrificed so much," says Steve Leach, Charleston Homes President. "We also want to salute our teachers, firefighters, police, nurses and emergency medical technicians who watch out for our children and our families."

Hometown Heroes Qualified Buyers include:

Police Officers and Sheriff's Deputies
Nurses - Registered, Nurse Practitioners, LPNs
Teachers - Elementary, Secondary, Collegiate -

All Military

(Must be a full time employee of a state accredited institution or municipality. Must have 1 year service and be in good employee standing. Must be purchasing the home for themselves as a primary residence. Must provide documentation on institution letterhead signed by immediate supervisor)

The town homes at Jackeys Creek start in the low $200s and are ideal for young professionals, first time home buyers or retirees. The homes are elevated and provide a covered ground level area ideal for parking and storage. Splashed with Low country pastels and multiple porch options, Charleston Town Homes at Jackeys Creek are perfect for enjoying the serenity of the marshland views.

The inspiration for the community came from the vibrant historic city of Charleston, S.C. The builder combined light-filled, generous floor plans with classic Charleston colors and architectural ambience to capture the essence of the homes that have become the hallmark of the Charleston streetscape.
