With more than 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Foster specializes in health information portability and accountability, gathering health information and maintaining medical records. She is responsible for quality and utilization management, training staff and managing sales and operations. Ms. Foster became involved in her profession because she had always wanted to work in healthcare, and she attributes her success to her passion for her profession. Ms. Foster is an educator in a variety of forums and serves on the Board of Directors at many institutions.
A Registered Health Information Administrator, Ms. Foster received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration from Ferris State University in 1985. She successfully passed her board exam the same year. Ms. Foster is affiliated with the Michigan Health Information Management Association and the American Health Information Management Association. She continues to be active in her State Association.
