    MEMPHIS, TN, December 17, 2008 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Dr. Cheryl L Cox, Faculty at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of healthcare research.

With 25 years of professional experience, Dr. Cox is responsible for overseeing the development of studies by conducting research on health and risk behavior in chronic illness and motivation in health behavior. Her desire to help people inspired her to become involved in her profession and she attributes her success to her hard work and dedication. Dr. Cox is currently focused on health-related behaviors in childhood cancer survivors.

Dr. Cox received her Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1982, her Master's Degree from Vanderbilt University in 1972 and her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tennessee in 1970. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Society of Behavioral Medicine.
