-- GRANGER, IN, January 25, 2013, Cheryl M. Martin, Retired Administrative Specialist for the Louisiana Genetic Diseases Program, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative services.
Prior to her retirement as an administrative specialist, Ms. Martin supported the growth and development of the Louisiana Genetic Diseases Program, a state health program that offered comprehensive newborn heel stick screenings. What is more, she is a true animal lover and environmentalist, and as such, is active with the following worthy causes: the Humane Society of the U.S., National Parks Association, ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and Environmental Defense Fund.
Ms. Martin is a founding sponsor of the Flight 93 National Memorial, and she further supports institutions with educational missions. Some of these include the National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institute, and National Audubon Society.
