Cheryl M. Martin Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Administrative Services

Cheryl Martin supported the growth and development of a state health program



    /24-7PressRelease/ -- GRANGER, IN, January 25, 2013, Cheryl M. Martin, Retired Administrative Specialist for the Louisiana Genetic Diseases Program, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative services.

Prior to her retirement as an administrative specialist, Ms. Martin supported the growth and development of the Louisiana Genetic Diseases Program, a state health program that offered comprehensive newborn heel stick screenings. By drawing on strengths for contract management, she seamlessly managed operations, partook in negotiations with subcontractors, handled budgeting, and oversaw formula projections. She also handled purchase orders, coordinated programs, and processed insurance reimbursements.

Ms. Martin has amassed more than 40 years of professional experience overall. She feels that the highlight of her career was attending the Grand Ronde Metabolic Clinic. She continues to remain abreast of trends and developments in her field as a member of the LPHA, NAFE, and International Association of Business Communicators. What is more, she is a true animal lover and environmentalist, and as such, is active with the following worthy causes: the Humane Society of the U.S., National Parks Association, ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and Environmental Defense Fund.

Ms. Martin is a founding sponsor of the Flight 93 National Memorial, and she further supports institutions with educational missions. Some of these include the National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institute, and National Audubon Society.

She enjoys reading the magazines published by the AARP NAFE in her spare time, as well as spending time with her dog and grandson.
