/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Cheryl Parker, Financial Aid Advisor for Columbus State Community College, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.
With 10 years of experience in customer service, Ms. Parker has been in her current position at Columbus State Community College for five years. As a financial aid advisor, her responsibilities include advising students and parents on financial aid, managing customer service, completing and submitting consortium agreements, decency overrides, special circumstances, and assisting in workshops for student assistance. Prior to her current position, Ms. Parker worked in customer service. She attributes her success to her education, faith in God and the support she receives from her co-workers and her church.
Ms. Parker is pursuing her Master's Degree in Business Management and received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a Minor in Human Resources, from Franklin University. A member of the National Association of State Facilities Administrators and the Ohio Association of State Facilities Administrators, she hopes to work in the admissions or human resources department. Ms. Parker considers her main goal to be making college affordable to all those students who want to attend.
