/24-7PressRelease/ -- The family-owned and run business of 35 years, set up by David and Sue Priestnall, are the official sponsors of the Chesterfield Supporters' Clubs 'Player of the Month' and 'Player of the Season' categories. The supporters' club works to support Chesterfield FC whilst providing a forum for fans to come together and unite in their passion for their local team.
Steve Tann, who was elected as Chesterfield Supporters' Club chairman in August, says:
"We are really grateful for the continued support from Autoworld. I can't stress enough how the ongoing financial support of members of the Chesterfield Supporters' Club is crucial if we are to continue to contribute to the success Chesterfield FC. All the funds raised and donated are directly fed back into Chesterfield FC and David Priestnall and his team at Autoworld will be glad to know that this donation and donations on previous occasions will help to fund players' kits and essential equipment."
David Priestnall, of Autoworld has been a Chesterfield FC fan for many years. David says:
"I have been a supporter of Chesterfield FC since I was a little boy. My passion for the team started because I used to live right opposite the football ground. Whenever there was a home game on, I would run up the stairs and watch the match from my second floor window! When I was a little older my Dad started to take me to the matches so my support of the club is longstanding".
David became a member of the Chesterfield Supporters' Club over 30 years through his connections to Chesterfield Rotary Club. "Autoworld are delighted to be able to contribute to the Supporters' Club because it's not just me who is a fan but a healthy proportion of the 250 people who work at Autoworld," added David.
