The well attended reception, held at Fairmont Chicago Millenium Park Hotel, honored the top attorneys in their respective practice areas. Less than 60 real estate attorneys in Illinois were recognized as 2012 Rising Stars. Super Lawyers is a service that rates lawyers who have attained a high-level of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is has multiple stages which includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The Super Lawyers Rising Star designation is awarded to attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have been in practice for ten years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of Illinois attorneys are designated as Rising Stars.
