Mr. Mell is one of four agents to join Dream Town in the month of February. He is a licensed Illinois real estate broker who specializes in condo, townhome and co-op sales.
With Dream Town, Mr. Mell will be a residential consultant and broker. His professional services include buyer representation for home purchasers and listing/marketing assistance for home sellers. Mr. Mell's area of expertise is Chicago's North Side housing market. He is especially knowledgeable and experienced in Lakeview, Lincoln Park and the Northwest neighborhoods of the city.
"I'm more than an established real estate broker who follows the local market, I'm a lifelong resident of Chicago," Mr. Mell said. Before getting into real estate, Mr. Mell was in the aviation industry. He worked in management at O'Hare International Airport. "My job at Terminal 5 taught me a lot about listening to people's needs, negotiating terms and overcoming challenges to create win-win situations for all parties involved," said Mr. Mell. "All of those skills have been extremely handy in my real estate dealings and have helped me build up the successful business I have today."
Mr. Mell is one of four new agents to join Dream Town in the last month and one of nine new additions since the end of January. The brokerage has more than 130 full-time residential realtors, commercial sales specialists and REO experts, who help lenders move bank-owned properties off the books. The Dream Town search engine can also be used to search for listings by neighborhood, suburb, zip code, address, and interactive map. The user can narrow search results by property type, price range, and number of bedrooms and baths. Listings are pulled from the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois and displayed with photos, virtual tours, property details and other pertinent information.
