    WEATHERFORD, OK, January 23, 2008 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Dr. ChihChen Sophia Lee, Director of Music Therapy and Associate Professor at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of music therapy.

With over 15 years of professional experience, six of which have been in her current position, Dr. Lee specializes in music therapy. At her current position, she is responsible for supervising students with their music lessons and academics, consulting and overseeing assessments. Honored by Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2005 she credits her success to her personality, persistence and to the support she receives from her family.

Dr. Lee received her Ph.D. in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2003. She is a member of the American Music Therapy Association and the Golden Key International Honour Society. She volunteers for local charitable and educational organizations and aspires to conduct research and teach music therapy globally in the future.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University is one of twenty-five institutions in the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education. The Department of Music provides students with the educational and performance opportunities to put them on the path of musical success. It has developed a music therapy program to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship.
