/24-7PressRelease/ - SINGAPORE, July 09, 2008 - Known as Asia's premier trade show helping buyers source from Greater China, the China Sourcing Fair offered a channel for global buyers to meet face-to-face with many quality China exporters.
Held from 12 to 15 April at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, the fair featured a galore of innovative electronic products ranging from consumer electronics, digital imaging products, computer and networking products, audio electronics, mobile phones and many others.
The fair featured 12 product pavilions. These pavilions include Computers & networking; Consumer electronics; Electronic components; GPS products; Healthcare & personal care electronics; In-car electronics; Telecom & wireless; Security products; and VoIP & WiFi products. Three new pavilions have been added this year in response to growing market demand and sophistication: Digital entertainment; Digital video broadcast; and Interconnection technology.
The aisles at the AsiaWorld-Expo were packed with buyers looking for hot China and Asian electronics on all four days of the China Sourcing Fair. Featuring 26% more booths than last spring, visitors can learn about hot trade topics at Asia's most comprehensive free conference program. An 'Ask the Experts' service, available on the first three days of the fair, allowed buyers to meet industry experts face-to-face for free personalised sourcing solutions.
This is the season's first and one of the most prominent trade events in the industry, showcasing over 2,400 booths of the hottest electronics from 14 distinct, easy-to-find product pavilions.
High profile buyers visit the fair not only to source for electronic products but also to establish long-term relationships with new suppliers. Buyers who attended the fair include the world's biggest brands like Chubb, Cisco, Hitachi, Hyundai, LG Electronics, NEC, Philips, Panasonic, RadioShack, Sanyo, Samsung, Siemens and Sony.
In a post show report, many exhibitors sung praises of the show, saying that the China Sourcing Fair is focused and effective, matching them with buyers from Europe, South America, Israel and Russia.
The fair also provided buyers a platform to look for competitive China and Asian products. With the huge selection of new products from various countries, buyers were spoilt for choice between the 1,800 mainland China booths and other booths from Canada, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Turkey and the USA.
At the Brand Zone in Hall 3, visitors were treated to the innovative new products from suppliers creating their own line of branded products. Another special zone is the New Product Gallery in Hall 11, where buyers can preview next season's hottest designs from almost every product category.
With China coming up as one of the major hot markets in the world, BuySingapore also made its presence felt at the China Sourcing Fair. Introducing its business matching portal to both buyers and sellers, many signed up for the free service, which is customised to match them with potential buyers and sellers from all over the world.
