Chinese Textbook Review Contest Offers $100 Prize

    ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA, March 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A Learning-Chinese bookstore is holding a review contest this April for a Chinese textbook series.

ChildBook.com is inviting all current and past users of the New Practical Chinese Reader (NPCR) textbooks from any country to write reviews about the NPCR materials to win $100. Reviews can be written text or done through creative presentations.

To join, head over to http://www.childbook.com/New-Practical-Chinese-Reader-for-Teens-and-College-s/267.htm, choose the NPCR product to review, and leave your review or link to your entry. ChildBook will accept multiple entries as long as there is only one entry per NPCR product. All reviews submitted until April 30, 2010 qualify.

The New Practical Chinese Reader is a curriculum series specially made for college level/ young adult students learning the Chinese language. The editors headed by Liu Yun, compiled the different methods proven effective to learn Chinese. Each level contains lessons on reading comprehension, pronunciation, grammar, writing Chinese characters and notes on Chinese culture.

To motivate students, the New Practical Chinese Reader lessons revolve around the life stories of fictional young adults living in campus. Ding Libo, Lin Na and Ma Dawei are some characters in the textbook who will deal with making friends, dating, handling family life, applying for jobs and more. These stories are spread throughout NPCR levels 1-4 and will surely interest users.

ChildBook, the sponsor of this contest, has been offering carefully selected textbooks and language materials that will help give the young the Chinese language advantage. More learning-Chinese materials are available not only for adults, but for high school, elementary and pre-school children as well.
