Sullivan of NOVA Chiropractic & Wellness Center recently achieved certification as a full body certified Active Release Techniques (ART) provider.
Dr. Sullivan attended the Master's ART course in St. Louis, MO on November 13, 2010. "This certification allows me to treat a wide range of muscular, tendon, and nerve injuries. It also speeds up the healing process and helps to provide better treatment outcomes for my patients," says Dr. Sullivan.
Active Release Technique is a state of the art, patented soft tissue technique designed to heal the injuries that occur to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. ART helps to provide relief from repetitive injuries that occur from common activities such as running, biking, working out, and many other daily activities.
Dr. Sullivan has served the Springfield & Fairfax County community through NOVA Chiropractic & Wellness Center since 2006. Prior to that, he was one of two chiropractors selected to complete his residency training at the National Naval Medical in Bethesda, MD.
