/24-7PressRelease/ -- Choclatique's delicious and creative confections earned them top awards at the 2009 Los Angeles Luxury Chocolate Salon, including a 1st place victory in the "Most Gifted Chocolatier/Chocolate Maker" category. The Authentically-American gourmet chocolate company also received seven other awards, adding to their already-impressive roster of recognition.
Competing with 35 other artisan and premium chocolate makers, Choclatique received 2nd place awards for: Most Luxurious Chocolate Experience, Best Flavored Chocolate, Best Toffee in Salon, Best Presentation and Packaging, Best Comfort Chocolate Product, and the New Product Award. Additionally, Ed Engoron and Joan Vieweger, the company's founders, were also presented with an honorable mention in the "Best Truffles" category.

Awards were given out based on votes cast by a distinctive group of almost 30 salon award tasting panel judges including experts, food writers, and chefs, among others.
