Chris Borland Introduces New Men's Care Line to Advocate for NFL Heroes

Chris Borland and Mike Ditka's Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund Partner with American Provenance to Design Men's Grooming Set in Honor of Football Greats

CHICAGO, IL, November 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, a non-stock, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing financial grants and medical assistance to retired NFL players in dire need, is proud to announce a new collaboration. Former San Francisco 49ers player, Chris Borland, and American Provenance have designed a new men's care line. Inspired by the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund's mission and focus on the humanitarian side of post-football related issues, this line will be available online beginning Monday, November 16 to football fans and conscientious consumers everywhere.

Collaborating with American Provenance, a high quality, all-natural personal care line made from the best ingredients available, Chris Borland and American Provenance Founder, Kyle LaFond, have worked to create an exclusive line inspired by the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund. Since deciding to retire from his brief career with the National Football League (NFL), Borland has advocated for those who face health challenges as a result of a career in football. A gift set consisting of six American Provenance products will be sold online at AmericanProvenance.com as well as at GridironGreats.org to honor those who have come before us, including the unforgotten past NFL greats. Proceeds from each gift set will benefit the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund.

"This new line by American Provenance is about honoring the traditions and people who have come before us," says Chris Borland, former San Francisco 49ers player. "We're proud to honor past and present Gridiron Greats with a personal care line that advocates for retired NFL players in dire need. Their entire lives are important. Not just when they were star players."

"These products are intended to be reminiscent personal care items from yesteryear; before the proliferation of chemical additives, fillers, and preservatives," says Kyle LaFond, founder of American Provenance. "A unique blend of Birch, Bergamot and Wintergreen essential oils comprise the foundation of the body spray, deodorant, aftershave, pomade, beard balm and soap. We were thrilled to make these products, and we are even more excited to share them with a broader audience."

Chris Borland's partnership with American Provenance in honor of the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund is one of sincerity and meaning. American Provenance's all-natural personal care products are intended for discriminate and conscientious consumers. As are the advocates of the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, the American Provenance consumer is intelligent and takes pride in the message he sends with his purchasing power, choosing to support small, independent businesses.
