-- Christine Verillotte, Head of Unit Business, Public Relations and Administration of the Accreditation business unit of State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, was recently named a member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.
Ms. Verillotte has 15 years of industry experience, with expertise in project management, project organization and working processes. Her duties in her current role of five years are handling accreditation services and technical issues, and overseeing 42 people in Switzerland and all back-office functions, including administration, project management, journalists and compliance systems. She is also building up control and representing the office at the European level committee.
In the future, Ms. Verillotte plans to reach the next level of success, which she attributes to her language skills and ability to adapt to varied cultures. She became involved in her profession after starting her education in political science, in which she holds a master's degree from the University of Fribourg, and being advised to work in the private sector. She spent 10 years working for the Nestle Corporation in operational audits and efficiency. She then worked for 5 years in marketing before moving over into the public sector.
Recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, Ms. Verillotte also maintains an affiliation with Soroptimist International. Charitably supporting Women in Need and supporting women in general in Switzerland, and a hospital in Uganda. Her hobbies are ski instructing, Black Belt in Aïkido, tennis and singing in the church choir.
Swiss Confederation provides governmental services for the citizens of Switzerland. The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs guides all economic issues inland and abroad of Switzerland.
