The 5-10-5 principle means that guests can enjoy a fantastic meal from the new Autumn menus for a recession-beating 20 for three courses. Paul Downing, The Maynard's director said: "In the run up to Christmas we know that people really want to get together and enjoy time with friends and family, but Christmas is a very expensive time and so cost becomes a major consideration. We think that the 5-10-5 offer will help by considerably reducing the cost per head but by no way restricting the quality or choice of food on offer." The Maynard's menus combine traditional English cooking with a twist, and draw upon seasonal local ingredients and produce.
