PHILADELPHIA, PA, January 18, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Churchill H. Huston has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Mr. Huston has been the owner of Churchill Huston Law, LLC, since 2016. In this role, he focuses on holding nursing homes and assisted living facilities accountable for abuse and neglect of their residents, and is an expert in brain injury law, wrongful death law, and medical malpractice. Prior to founding his own law firm, he was an attorney with Maher Law Firm, P.A., from 2008 to 2016, an attorney with Kane & Silverman and Haggerty & Silverman from 2007 to 2008, and an attorney with Wilkes & McHugh, P.A., from 2004 to 2006. Earlier in his career, he was an attorney and public defender with the Defender Association of Philadelphia from 1999 to 2004.

Mr. Huston began his career by obtaining a BA in political science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1994, going on to earn a JD from the Temple University James E. He has always been interested in the relentless pursuit of justice and in righting wrongs where he finds them, working to make the legal system a better place for everyone involved. To this day, he considers one of his most gratifying cases to be when he successfully held a Philadelphia area hospital and nursing home accountable for the neglect of a patient, which resulted in severe bedsores and infections. The largest verdict of its kind in Pennsylvania, the $6 million verdict was successfully upheld when Mr. Huston argued in its favor before the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Looking to the future, Mr. Huston intends to expand the firm while continuing to help people who have been subjected to substandard treatment in nursing homes.
