The CTP1000 Multimedia Player is two products in one. As a sleek USB external storage device, the CTP1000 comes with 500GB, 1TB, 1.5TB or 2TB of hard drive storage. It can be connected to a personal computer and copy files to and from the device. As a media player, it plays photos, videos and music files from the built-in hard drive, directly onto a TV.
The CTP1000 plays high definition videos in 720p or 1080i. The choice of HDMI, component and composite video outputs makes the CTP1000 a versatile product that is compatible with all of today's popular plasma and LCD flat screens, as well as older CRT TVs.
The CTP1000 Multimedia Player has a built-in card reader and USB ports to let users access their digital media from flash drives, memory cards, digital cameras or external hard drives. The CTP1000's card reader supports MemoryStick, MemoryStick Pro, SD and MMC flash cards for quick and easy access to photos and videos from cameras. Photos on memory cards can be viewed in thumbnail, full screen and slideshow modes directly on a TV rather than a computer screens.
