CircusPoker.co.uk, part of the UK's biggest casino operator, has embarked on a unique live poker experiment that will involve training a complete amateur to play like a pro and, in theory, eventually win 100,000 in prize money.
Over the coming weeks, Adam Ralph, a journalist from Nuts magazine, will be taught everything he needs to know about the game by a team of experts from
CircusPoker.co.uk, ranging from the workings of tournaments through to which hands to play and what banter to give.
Crucially, he'll be writing about his experiences on it's newly launched
poker blog as well as on Nuts.co.uk. And to help Adam play the best game he can, CircusPoker.co.uk will be asking for advice and tips from the UK's poker players to incorporate into his training plan.
After weeks of expert tuition - including sessions with pros and live tournaments - Adam will aim to qualify for CircusCasino.com's Second Chance
Poker Classic tournament to see if he can win the 100k guaranteed prize pot, taking place on 30th October - 2nd November at Circus Casino at Star City, Birmingham.
