-- ClaimAid, a leading provider of Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and private program eligibility services for hospitals, patients and schools, is excited to announce that Brad Willkie has joined ClaimAid as Vice President of Sales and will head up New Business Development. Willkie will be participating in the organization's long-term business plans and the implementation of ClaimAid's business development strategy throughout Indiana and regionally.
"Brad's visionary leadership will be an asset in ClaimAid's continued development of new clients and new growth initiatives," said Chas LaPierre, President of ClaimAid. "Having gained vast experience in the Health Care Sector and armed with strong business acumen, he has a deep understanding of the challenges that exist, and yet can identify new opportunities and create solutions that speak to our partner clients and new business efforts. With the growing needs in the Health Care Industry today of the uninsured and underinsured, Willkie's hands on experience and expertise will significantly impact ClaimAid's tireless vision to compassionately serve our clients, patients and their families."
Most recently serving as Vice President of Business Development with GLA Collections Company/KAMP Medical Billing, Willkie was instrumental in leading efforts to combine technology and services that enabled healthcare providers and other business leaders to maximize their revenue cycle with innovative solutions in an ever-changing economic climate and industry. Prior to joining KAMP, he served at PSC Info Group and APS Healthcare Solutions, managing and implementing their healthcare revenue cycle strategic plans. Willkie also takes pride in his accomplishments, heading up a division of Anthem, Administar Print*Mail, growing it to a successful $30 million independent company within seven years. Followed up by purchasing a piece of Anthem called FastEMC, a software integration claims management system and growing that entity tenfold in just two years.
"ClaimAid is patient-centered and client-focused when it comes to providing eligibility services and claims resolution -- two areas that I will continue to be very passionate about as I lead New Business Development for this compassionate organization," said Willkie. "I look forward to combining my business experience with my health care background to deliver new insights and innovative solutions for our partner hospitals, healthcare providers, patients and their families. ClaimAid not only provides industry-leading expert services and comprehensive solutions -- it is a trusted partner -- a valued principle that I will take into New Business Development as well."
Willkie double majored at Purdue University in West Layfayette, IN, where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Management and a B.A. in Public Relations. He's also a member of the HFMA Indiana Pressler Memorial Chapter, where he has served in many capacities, including President, Committee Chair, Board Member for nine years and recently elected as the Regional Executive Elect for 2015. HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association) is the nation's leading personal membership organization for healthcare financial management professionals.
