With over 34 years experience in the health care industry, Cooper helped co-found ClaimAid in 1988. He and his team began working with their first client shortly thereafter. Initially, they partnered with health care providers, such as hospitals, for billing and follow-up of Indiana Medicaid accounts. Soon, ClaimAid began assisting patients with their enrollments or coverage through the Indiana Medicaid Program and quickly became an industry leader in eligibility determination as well as billing and follow-up services. In 2004, ClaimAid embraced the Medicaid School-Based Billing Program, providing services and expertise with outstanding results.
In 2013, ClaimAid began offering assistance with Federal Social Security Disability appeals. By offering this new service line, they satisfied a need by filling in the federal gap to show their hospital and health care provider clients that they were willing to go that extra mile for its patients and their families. Today, by expanding its services to the federal level, ClaimAid can help patients and their families at every stage of the process from the initial application through all the different appeals. Whether they're applying for Social Security benefits or appealing their decision, ClaimAid is there to guide them and be their advocate at every level.
