    POWHATAN, VA, January 13, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Claire E. Andrews, Teacher at Flat Rock Elementary School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of elementary education.

Ms. Andrews began her career in education three decades ago, inspired by her grandmothers, who were both teachers. Considered an expert in teaching all fourth-grade subjects, she takes her role as an educator seriously, shaping her young students with utmost care. Ms. Andrews earned her Master of Education in Supervision and Administration from Longwood University in 1986 and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University in 1976. Her professional affiliations include the Virginia Education Association, the National Education Association and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Throughout her career, Ms. Andrews has strived to be the best teacher that she can be, and considers having her efforts appreciated by her students and having them nominate her for inclusion in Who's Who Among American Teachers to be the most rewarding aspects of her career. She attributes her success to her love for her students.
