/24-7PressRelease/ - Cumming, GA, September 10, 2008, Claire Marsh, Volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of social services.
Ms. Marsh has been a CASA volunteer for five years. She attributes her organizational skills to the 35 years she spent as an Army wife. She was involved with families and family support groups for numerous organizations in the United States, Germany and Korea. The number of families ranged from units of 800 to over 18,000.
CASA is a non profit organization that trains and provides local citizens for the sole purpose of volunteering to act as guardian ad litems for children of deprivation/abuse as needed by a juvenile court judge.
A product of the University of Georgia at Columbus College, Ms. Marsh holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science. Ms. Marsh hopes to continue volunteering in this exceedingly worthwhile organization and to recruit more and more volunteers anywhere they live. Ms. Marsh hopes to continue to grow professionally and attributes her success to much learned persistence. Her experience in the military prompted her to become involved in her current position.
