Ms. Thomas' areas of practice include in professional liability, insurance and civil rights litigation. Her primary responsibilities include meeting with clients, conducting discovery, court appearances, and related motion practice. She brings to her position years of legal experience, which include working as a part-time law clerk during law school for an appellate advocacy firm in Hartford, as a judicial clerk to Judge Trial Referees Socrates H. Mihalakos and Joseph A. Pellegrino of the Appellate Court of Connecticut and as a lead articles editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. She attributes her success to her perseverance and work ethic.

A product of the University of Connecticut School of Law, Ms. Thomas earned her JD in 2006. Additionally, she also received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dartmouth College in 1998. She is affiliated with the Connecticut Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
