Ms. Adams has 24 years of professional experience, having recently become the CEO of Bravura Inc. Over the years, she has gained a comprehensive skill set that includes profit and loss management, business development and strategic operations. Currently, she is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, as well as overseeing company expansion and marketing. Ms. Adams has had a successful career building operations and businesses. She was ranked number 1 in the nation for her performance at Xerox, and was the executive responsible for building Adams Communication to currently over $170M in annual revenue and over 400 personnel, where she remains an owner. Her career accomplishments led to her being named International Executive of the Year in 2013.
Looking back, Ms. Adams feels that hard work, diligence and not taking "no" for an answer have contributed to her success over the years. To the younger generation of women entering the workforce Ms. Adams says to stay current on leadership models in your field of study, be flexible and stay focused. She attributes her success to hard work. She became involved in her profession because of her desire to own a business.
Ms. Adams received a Master of Theology from Calvary Christian College in 2000 and a bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Pennsylvania in 1982. She is a member of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Smithsonian Institution, and the subcommittee of Governor Martin O'Malley and Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown. In years to come, Ms. Adams hopes to have 1,000 employees and would like to expand her services.
