Coal Miner Starts New Career as a Landscape Photographer in his Late Fifties

    SALT LAKE CITY, UT, September 17, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With very limited employment options in rural south eastern Utah, Ray Sisneros Jr. put his dreams of living under the stars and exploring all corners of the earth living as an adventurer on hold at a very young age and began coal mining to pay the bills to help out his family. The 1960's and 1970's saw and employment boom in this part of the country because of its immense natural resources. Known for vast canyons and breath taking red rock vistas, this remarkable area of the Colorado Plateau is filled with untold treasures and has not only been legendary for its scenic beauty but also for its offering of abundant natural resources.

Understanding the limited potential in excavating this high desert landscape for its natural resources Ray saw an even greater potential in this harsh, yet astonishing part of the planet; its picturesque beauty. "I've always believed there is a universal balance to be had between man and nature, and in this part of the world there has been a struggle to compromise between those who strive for conservation and those that depend on those same resources for survival; I believe both can find a way to coexist in this amazing place," Sisneros recently stated, "The bottom line for me is that I just knew at this point of my life I wanted to find a way to expose the beauty of my part of the world for everyone to enjoy."

Sisneros picked up a camera a number of years ago and has never looked back. He has now honed his skill in capturing just the right moment, sometimes waiting up throughout the night to get the perfect night scape shot or waking well before dawn to set-up for the perfect sunrise. In Sisnero's words he says "The beauty that mother nature provides never ceases to amaze me, especially in the most remote parts of this planet, I'm always on a mission to always capture her [Mother nature] in the most unique way that I can."
