/24-7PressRelease/ -- Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP welcomes Na'il Benjamin and Matthew C. Dirkes as associates to its Litigation Practice Group. Benjamin was most recently with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. Prior to joining Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass, Dirkes served as a law clerk to the Honorable Samuel Conti of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Their addition brings the total number of attorneys in the firm to 68.

Benjamin's practice focuses on general litigation and includes multi-district litigation, complex class actions, arbitrations and trial. In state and federal courts, he has represented plaintiffs and defendants, individuals and small companies, as well as large corporations. His experience includes defending claims pertaining to antitrust matters, white-collar crime, trade secret misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duties, securities, real estate disputes, insurance recovery disputes, wage and hour employment claims, and general business disputes. Benjamin earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a Concentration in Civil Litigation (2005). While in law school, Benjamin served as an extern to Judge Thelton Henderson of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Dirkes' practice focuses on general litigation. Dirkes earned his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program (2007). While in law school, Dirkes served as Vice-President for the Immigration Law Society as well as On-Call Editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs.
