/24-7PressRelease/ -- Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP Partner Pamela Duffy has been selected as the 2011 San Francisco Land Use & Zoning Tax Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-reviewed publication in the legal profession. This is the second consecutive year Duffy has received the "Lawyer of the Year" honor, which is awarded to a single lawyer in 16 high-profile legal specialties. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 1995.
Duffy's practice is focused on commercial real estate, land use and development, with a special emphasis on large public and private entity transactions. She has played an active role in some of the Bay Area's largest development projects and real estate transactions, including the San Francisco Giants' AT&T Park, the 300-acre Mission Bay development project and the Public Health Services Hospital conversion to a LEED-certified residential community. Currently, she acts as lead counsel for the proposed new San Francisco 49ers Stadium, the 150-acre smart growth Napa Pipe project, and The Exploratorium's move to Piers 15-17. One of the only Bay Area women to be a name partner at a major law firm, Duffy also has been honored by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the "Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business" for the past six years.

Duffy earned her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (1978) and her undergraduate degree, with honors, from California State University, Los Angeles (1970).
