Irons, Puerto Rico wing administrator of the Civil Air Patrol of the United States Air Force Auxiliary, will be included as a lifetime member in the 2008-2009 edition of the Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in government service.

Mr. Irons is proud to have served in the Civil Air Patrol for the last 20 years. An electronics expert, he boasts 30 years of professional experience in IBM and eight in the United States Air Force, where he worked on radar and missile equipment, as well as flight control missions. At present, he functions as an administrator to the commander and is responsible for managing finance, banking, communications and administration. In addition to being wing administrator, he is the director of aerospace education and emergency services, and considers becoming the wing commander for Puerto Rico to be his greatest achievement to date. A life member of both the American Legion and Air Force Association, Mr. Irons has been honored with the Meritorious Service, Distinguished Service and Exceptional Service Awards by the Civil Air Patrol. He expects to retire in the next five years.

A graduate of La Salle Extension University, Mr. Irons holds an Associate's Degree in Business Management. His career at IBM was every means as stellar as his stint with the Civil Air Patrol, with five customer excellence awards and six technical support awards.
