Online color copying and printing company Docucopies.com announced today that they have added 100-percent post-consumer recycled paper to their available paper stock.
The new stocks, which are 28# white smooth and 80# cover, are available as paper types on the website's online order forms.
Best of all, the cost difference is negligible -- the recycled sheets are just 1 cent more per copy than their comparable non-recycled counterparts.
"Deforestation is a serious problem, and using recycled paper products is one way to help curb it," says Jeff Corbo, marketing director for
Docucopies.com, which puts out millions of copies a year. "In the past it was more expensive and there wasn't a big enough demand for it. But now as society begins to look at greener options in everything from their cars to their copies, the appeal is there, and the cost has dropped considerably."
The recycled paper can be used in any of their copying and digital printing products, including color copies, books, booklets, business cards and postcards.
"It's the responsibility of business and industry to do what they can to reduce their carbon imprint on the environment," says Corbo.
