Barcelona Walks runs a regular gourmet tour, showing visitors the best places to dine and find fresh goods.

Tours last for around two hours and are available in English on Fridays and Saturdays, departing from the Turisme de Barcelona information office at Playa de Catalunya, which is within easy reach of most

Adult tickets cost 16.21 euros (15 pounds) when purchased in advance online, with passes for children available from 6.30 euros.
Some of the venues featured on the tour include the Mercat de La, Patisseria Escriba and Les Torroneries de Carrer de la Cucurulla, as well as La Pineda and Cafe de l'Opera.
Spain is famed for its tasty Mediterranean cuisine and tapas dishes, with traditional options including patatas bravas, meatballs, grilled tiger prawns in garlic, sausage in red wine, stuffed tomatoes and spicy chickpea and chorizo stew.
