/24-7PressRelease/ -- Hosted by Comedian LiL JJ, the 9th annual Positive Images of Self Expression (P.I.S.E) fundraiser brings together fashion and philanthropy as entertainers encourage youth to be their best by supporting the Performing Arts School's vital youth programs.
Positive Images of Self-Expression (P.I.S.E) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 full service performing arts school for inner city youth. Founded by former Alvin Ailey dancer Imani Hayward, and teacher/youth counselor Lanet D. Love, the program is also ran by professional dancer Ms. Myisha Richmond who has worked with well-known choreographers Tony Basil, Marguerite Derricks, Hinton Battle, Dave Scott and Fatima Robinson.
For the past 11 years, P.I.S.E has been foremost in helping inner city youth change their lives through the arts. Their program includes: dance, acting & drum classes, voice lessons, modeling and etiquette. P.I.S.E is a dynamic organization serving children ages 5 to 17 years of age.
The 9th Annual Celebrity Fashion Show will allow the participating youth to showcase the fundamentals learned in the program's stellar curriculum while raising funds to support their school. Hosted by teen Comedian Lil JJ of Nickelodeon's Just Jordan., Vanessa and Angela Simmons Pastry's Brand will be on hand participating with colorful fashions along with other designers; Woven Culture, PISE Couture, Deeply Rooted Apparel, D4G Elegant Faux Furs, and Brandi Michelle.
