Colorado hood installation company's national network of providers.
Interested companies must already be in the business of providing
commercial kitchen hoods cleaning services, said Massoud Farazandeh, general manager of Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., an affiliate of APS-Hoods.
APS-Hoods is a full-service fire protection business that offers restaurant hood installation in Denver, and throughout the nation. The company also specializes in national hood sales and hood cleaning services.
"We want to establish good hood cleaning representatives in every state," Farazandeh said.
The most pressing needs are in California, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois and Michigan.
"I get a lot of calls from these areas from restaurants seeking hood cleaning services," he said.
Territories will be created in states according to their population and the layout of the restaurants in the area. For example, California is divided into four territories and APS-Hoods will not take on more than four representatives to work those territories.
"We aren't out to create competition among our representatives," Farazandeh said.
Farazandeh stressed that this opportunity is for companies already in the restaurant kitchen hood cleaning business. He seeks companies that have the same ethical values as those that have made APS-Hoods successful, he said. These companies' hood cleaning processes must meet APS-Hoods' standards, and they must have been in business at least two years.
These companies will not be required to become franchises of APS-Hoods, just representatives. Representatives do not have to pay franchise fees.
So what's in it for the companies who become representatives? They will receive ongoing training by APS-Hoods and they will be eligible to attract business from many national accounts that they may currently "be deprived of," Farazandeh said.
"Through this process, they will be able to get their share of the national accounts within their states," he said. "Many restaurant owners look for reputable national companies they can trust, and by joining us and becoming a representative, we provide the trustworthy, nationwide reputation. This will bring them more customers."
There also are franchise opportunities available for
hood cleaning services, Farazandeh said.
